Thomas Jordan Thomas started working with wood in high school in shop class.  He has been creating his masterpieces for 33 years.  In the last  few years he has started wood turning and enjoys this form of wood working more than building furniture.  He says, “He is inspired by the piece of wood that I have turning in my lathe most of the time.  I have no idea what form I am going to make.  I work with native species and exotic woods such as blood wood , purple heart and Brazilian cherry. I really like the beauty of these exotic woods.”  He would like to someday become a master wood turner
