Lynne Hughes I began painting fine art in 1994. I enjoy candid, real-life images and strive to transfer my feeling of the subject to the viewer through layers of color, shadow, and texture. It is my desire in my paintings to tell a story. My experience over the years has taken me to new levels of achievement and growth.  Transparent watercolor requires discipline, planning, precision, and patience.  That challenge is what makes it exciting. My quest in the journey of art is to capture the essence of daily life seen in the inner spirit of the young and old.
